It's a rainy, rainy day here in Maryland. The rain fits my mood. Sad. Thinking of my good friend who lost her Mom on Friday. She passed away suddenly and my poor friend got a call from her brother telling her the sad news. I wish I could do something special to comfort her. She is out of town with her family dealing with the funeral and everything else. We are watching her dog. Any ideas for someone who lost her Mom? Her relationship with her Mom was very rocky and there is a lot of sorrow because of that.

20 more minutes then they're BACK

Ahhhh, just 20 more minutes until the kiddos return from school. I've been running around today and am utterly exhausted. Don't feel like I accomplised much today, except to fill two big holes in the backyard that the dogs keep digging up!! Ha...ha... I buried some chicken wire this time to stop them from digging. This better work!!! I can't believe how fast a dog can dig in a matter of seconds. Dirt flying, tails wagging. A contruction company could hire them and have holes dug in mere seconds. And then there is always the mystery of where all the dirt goes???? I try to refill the holes and can never get all the dirt back. Where is it??? There must be some theory of dirt displacement here but all I know is that I'm tired of refilling holes and my yard looks like a construction zone.

Well I better rest up for chaos. No rest for the weary. No pink fuzzy slippers, bons bons and Oprah for this SAHM.

I Should Be Making Dinner!!!

I can't believe I'm trying to set up a blog or whatever you call it and I really should be making my hungry kids dinner!!! This is my first post ever! I haven't a clue what I'm doing but assume I'll figure it out eventually??? You see you can already figure out I'm a procrastinator... or else I'd be making dinner about now even though my kids are digging into the sour cream and onion chips!!! I can't stand dinner time. Why is that? Maybe that's why I'm avoiding it!! Does sour cream and onions count as a nutritional meal? Onions are good right? and cream is dairy!! OK, OK... I'll go make them something good to eat followed by chocolate cake for dessert (could be for breakfast!!)... You see, I'm not such a bad Mom after all! Until my next rambling....CrabbyMom
